Our home base. The depot is at Stony Rise, so mobilisation to anywhere in Devonport, Spreyton, Quoiba or East Devonport is quick and cheap. Site cuts, driveways, demolition and subdivision earthworks are our bread and butter here.

LCB Contracting operates from Stony Rise in Devonport and services anywhere in Tasmania. The North West coast of Devonport, Burnie, Ulverstone, Penguin, Latrobe, Port Sorell, Sheffield and Wynyard is our daily patch, and for the right job we float machines statewide. Every service we offer travels: earthworks, site prep, driveways, clearing, drainage and demolition.
Burnie
Regular commercial and industrial work along the Burnie to Somerset corridor, including car parks, hardstands and bulk cartage. Steeper coastal blocks around Burnie reward an operator who knows how to stage a cut.
Ulverstone
House pads, driveways and full residential site preparation across Ulverstone, Turners Beach and Leith, much of it for owner builders and local building companies we work with repeatedly.
Penguin
Sloping sea view blocks around Penguin need careful cut and fill and retaining excavation. We prepare pads that hold their levels and driveways that survive the gradient.
Latrobe
Fast growing residential streets and rural residential blocks around Latrobe and Shearwater. Site prep, drainage and gravel driveways, often rolled into a single visit.
Port Sorell
New estates and coastal blocks across Port Sorell, Shearwater and Hawley Beach. Sandy ground changes how pads and driveways should be built, so we compact and base accordingly.
Sheffield
Farm dams, ag drainage, paddock clearing and farm tracks through the Kentish municipality. This is working country we know well, and we schedule around seasons and stock.
Wynyard
Land clearing, mulching and rural earthworks out to Wynyard, Somerset and the surrounding farmland, including clearing projects across multiple acres.
Smithton & Circular Head
For larger rural and civil projects we travel to the far North West. Float costs are shared sensibly across bigger scopes, so ask us when you get in touch.
Anywhere in Tasmania
The North West is home base, not a boundary. For the right job we float machines statewide to Launceston, the Tamar Valley, the Midlands, Hobart and beyond. If it’s in Tasmania, it’s on the table.
