Lucas Badcock has been around dirt, machinery and hard work his entire life. Born and raised on the North West Coast, he picked up his first contract at 19 with a 2 tonne excavator.
That single machine turned into a business. Today LCB operates a fleet of excavators, tipper trucks, rollers and a water cart, with a small crew built from the same mould: local operators who grew up on this coast and treat every site like their own.
From private land clearing and driveways through to subdivisions, farm infrastructure and large scale civil works, LCB delivers the same standard regardless of the size of the job. When you call LCB, you talk to Lucas. When the machine fires up on your site, he's in the cab or standing next to it.

How we got here
Built job by job
- The start
Lucas picks up his first contract at 19 with a 2 tonne excavator, clearing blocks and taking on whatever small jobs come his way on the coast.
- Word gets around
Builders start calling back. One machine becomes two, then a tipper joins the fleet so jobs stop waiting on cartage subbies.
- The fleet grows
Excavators from 2 to 20 tonnes, truck and dog combinations, rollers and a water cart, all matched to jobs from house pads to subdivisions.
- Today
A small local crew delivering earthworks, civil and demolition across the North West, with Lucas still quoting and running the jobs himself.
