LCB Contracting constructed a water storage dam for a working dairy property in the Sheffield district. The dam was built to the client’s storage requirements with compacted earthen walls, a shaped spillway and appropriate batter slopes for long term structural integrity.
Work was scheduled during the dry season to get the best possible compaction conditions and avoid weather delays. We come from farming country ourselves, so we plan around the seasons, not the calendar.
